Parents say it’s the busiest time of the year. New teachers, new friends, new shoes, new notebooks… some GS kids are starting Kindergarden and other GS kids are venturing off to college.
Where do shop for best school supplies?
What are some must fall must haves clothes for school?
How do you talk to your children fears about making new friends?
I have a first grader on my hand this year. The teacher has requested 15 (yes 15) glue sticks. Unless they are going to be glueing themselves to the walls - why do they need this?
I am bit nervous. She'll be gone for the whole day and homework and quran class and soccer and Sunday School.
I am nervous because she's a poor eater. What are some good ideas for lunch? What is inside your child's lunch box?
My daughter is starting private kindergarten this year, they asked for uniforms… I got awesome deals on navy polo shirts and khaki bottom at Osh Kosh’s outlet store… even Target was more expensive so I happily shopped at Osh Kosh :). I also got her some cardigans and leggings to wear when it gets much cooler.
I got her homework supplies from Target, its fun to shop there for school supplies :).
njgal… wow, 15? She must be planning on using the glue sticks the whole year through
My daughter is a poor eater at home , but at school she eats really well, I guess cuz everyone else is eating there. Her favorite lunch items are chicken nuggets, fish sticks, cheese sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, cheese pizza, alongwith a fruit like apple slices, banana, oranges or yogurt, etc. She also drinks milk with her lunch. (This was her routine in Junior Kindergarten, lets see how Kindergarten goes)

that just a little over 1 stick per month and given the type of work kids do, thats not too much.
