.. fishy i just remembered another one ..

dude brought a 486 computer and claimed “it isn’t working after i upgraded the processor” .. when the store guys checked it, (Rolls on the floor laughing), they noticed that the dude had taken a 486 processor, tried to put into the 386 slot ('course it didn’t fit), so in order to make it fit, he TOOK the scissors and manually cut the eXtra pins, and still it wasnt fitting into the 386 socket, so he put a BOLT and a HOLE into the chip, socket and the motherboard, put the bolt in the whole and SCREWED it in with a nut.. a PERFECTLY stable upgrade..

I’ve had my computer for almost 2 years. Six months ago the hard disk died, I fixed with a newer bigger one. Then Saturday night, I turned on the computer and windows had streaks running from left and right, up and down; sizzling streaks all over, then I smelt wires burning and smoke was coming from the monitor. At the time, all I wanted was for it to work, not thinking it would blow up and had my head all up behind the monitor trying to look inside and see where the fire was. I was desperate I’d say. It was about midnight and I was debating on whether to go to Wal-Mart and buy a new monitor or how I could hook up the T.V. to the hard drive.
