I find that blow drying the hair upside down when it is wet gives a really full thick look to the hair.
ladies!! i have a method that looks amazing on me!!!
here goes:
first blow dry hair with round brush
next, use velcro rollers just on your crown area. when u section the hair for the roller - spray the root with volumizer first- i use chi, then roll it and the hair at the root should be straight up to the sky into the roller- not falling back. (hope that makes sense to u?)
Spray your crown area with hair spray!
then let your hair stay in the rollers while u do your makeup.
aftr makeup is done...take out the rollers one by one - as u take each one out - take your rat tail comb and tease that section!
tease each section seperately as you remove the rollers.
once all rollers have been removed - most of your crown should look like a mess! lol
use the teasing brush (not rat tail comb) to brush through your hair to shape it - it should just smooth the front pieces of your hair down leaving the underside teased and lifted.
voila! ur hair will be volumized!
oh i forgot to mention....it would help if your hair was in layers as long heavy hair will weigh your hair down and not allow too much volume.
anddd....the shorter your hair is - the smaller the velcro roller should be. so for super long hair you would use the huge red velcro rollers and then purple, then yellow, etc etc
i got my rollers in a pack at shoppers drug mart with its own carrying case.
hope this helps u all - and yes, yu can do it daily if you multitask!

Brilliant. I tried it and it has worked thanks
you can invest in some hot rollers and do the same thing, i find heavier hair needs the heat. however if you have long hair you do need someone to help you roll up your hair... and if you pull apart each curl you get that wavy curly look tha you can achieve with straightening irons. my teenie bopper seventeen magazine used to always give you lots of hairstyle to do with that method that were simple and easy. good stuff to try for weddings.
thats almost how i do my hair and it works for my fine hair. i dont blow dry and use a bit less hairspray but i back comb like crazy and it works ![]()
and back combing doesnt damage ur hair as long its done right and hair r not tugged and pulled later to remove the tangles be gentle and back comb only in one direction i.e downwards only… not both ways i.e up and down
Re: Back combing hair/teasing hair
