ahem! nothing 'chucky' about bending turning or twisting wrist. It's at teh elbow and shoulder where bowling and chucking differ.
Every major sport has sets of rules for mainstream games and a "special" league for "special players". You don't see "special" players playing soccer in wheel-chairs in the FIFA World Cup. You don't have players without hands playing volleyball using their foot in an International volleyball tournament like Olympics. Its great if these "special" people want to play this game. But the mainstream game need to be played according to its rules, whatever they are.
If cricket has a rule, that the batsman needs to bat by standing and running on his own two feet, thats what a batsman is allowed to do. If a person without legs wanna play cricket on a turbo-powered wheelchair, he will be directed towards cricket for "special" people.
Similarly in Murali's case, if he has a genetic disability whatever, I don't dispute that. But if he can't bowl according to the laws of cricket, then ICC did a wrong move by allowing him to play due to "medical condition". We should have level playing field for all players. Murali and anyone else who claims to have physical deformaties should not be playing in mainstream international cricket, but in their own "special" leagues.
And yes, if Shoaib has the same problem and same excuse, this is my opinion there too. ICC did wrong. Thats my view. You can disagree.
he looks so freaky… ammmiiiiiii ![]()

Thanks.I thought I was alone on this issue.
Different people have different opinions, but the people who matter (ICC) have cleared both of them, so we should get along with our lives.
We are indeed getting on our lives,
The only thing coming out of your statement is pure jealousy, we all know India will never have a good fast bowler as Shoaib or a great spinner as Murali so they make useless statements. My theory is if you are going to blame someone for chucking then fix the problem of a chucker in your country (sardar ji) than go off blaming the outsiders.

When Sardar Jee was told that he chucks ,he came back with corrected action not with Medical Certificate unlike others.Who chuck and still go for
30 in 2 overs.
I used to think Shoaib is a great bowler material but bfter the way he crumbled and after the way he shot his mouth of, in my books he is quite ornery. This combined with his suspect action pretty much kills any desire on any team's part to have such a liability. So jealosy on this account is not possible.
Muralitharan atleast uses his brain and doesn't shoot of his mouth. So may be there's some desire to get spinners like him, but without suspect action.
India has had and will have many of them.
Clutching Straws
And about jealousy, Yeah even Michael Holding is jealous that he could never be a better bowler than Mr. Passenger.
And the only reason, You are supporting Murali because you also have a chucker who carries his medical certificate in pocket every time he goes on the cricket field to throw.
Sardarji’s problem is already fixed and he is not afraid of going to Australia unlike the bent elbow man
. Anyways can someone please tell us Why are sri lankans demanding to exclude umpire Hair from Umpiring panel ?
Well unlike you, he was decent enough to stop the blaming after both were cleared from the ICC.
Burn all you want because nobody given damn what you think, once again ICC is the main boss and they cleared him.
The last time I checked Harbajhan was purposely not played in a single match in the Australian tour in 2000 when India played 3 test.
If you didn’t know umpire Hair recently officiated the match between England and Sri Lanka in VB series with Murali bowling full 10 overs without being no balled for chucking.
England vs Sri Lanka
ICC clearede murali in 1996 then again in 1999, Holding blamed murali in 2002. Now please tell me which one comes later 2002 or 1996 :hehe:

Lot of people give a damn about it :- Gilchrist, Holding,Bedi,Bob Woolmer and I will keep adding more names
Yeah sure, please have a look at this scorecard :- http://www-usa.cricket.org/link_to_database/ARCHIVE/1999-2000/IND_IN_AUS/SCORECARDS/IND_TAS_17-20DEC1999.html
:hehe: Do I read Harbhajan’s name in the scoresheet ?? :rotfl:
And I know about Hair’s umpiring and also noticed how murali was limited to a pedestrian bowler :hehe: taking a tailender wicket

He's not a chucker. I'm sure you have all the facts that prove he's a chucker. He, like others are double jointed, which causes the ligament in the shoulder joint to bend in a ackward motion.

bishen bedi's argument is perfect. if his anatomy does not permit him to bowl with a clean action, cricket is not the place for him. after all every profession has some prerequisites.

Yeah unlike Mr Mirchi Bedi and yourself, he mentioned the issue once and never again, everyone has right to express their opinion and he mentioned it once.
And yet he still plays cricket, cry and burn all you want, Murali is the best spinner ever, yes even better than Mr Bedi.
Oh please, it was never an international match, those are the only once that count, it was a warmup game and thus unofficial, and why didn’t he play a single match against Australia in 3 test and against Aus and Pak in C&U series.
Nobody cares about his performance, he was allowed to bowl full 10 overs in front of Mr Hair, the man who accused him of throwing, but unlike Mr Bedi and Yourself, he wasn’t that jealous enough to bring the issue back the headlines.
Better than Bedi
yeah sure by chucking Anyways Best ever spinner is Shane Warne. Okay what next Rawalpindi passenger better than Holding too ??
Yeah and in that opinion Murali is a chucker ![]()
I knew you would come up with this excuse. Are you telling me that those games are not official games ?? If you didn’t know they are First class games and the player performance is added into his First Class record. They are official games.
He didn’t play in the C&U series because it was a One Day Tournament and he was not in the ODI team. He didn’t play test because in the First class games his performance wasn’t good enough. I can cite the example of many paki players who went to the Australia tour but didn’t play in the test matches. ![]()
Tell that to your Indian friends at Wisden who declared him as the greatest test bowler of all time, ask them if he is a chucker.
Wisden
They maybe official game when it comes to first class but to ICC they don’t matter, they are warmups and in warmups anything goes, you can play chuckers without being suspected.
Even Muhammad Sami once played for Queensland in a warmup game against Pakistan. Link
Sure thats what you say, Harbajhan was said to have a suspected action at that time after the squad was announced and he was purposly not played in the matches against Australia, but only against county teams. Eventhough he had a pretty successfull test series at home against Pakistan only months before the Aussie tour.
