Thank you all. This past week has been a mixture of both excitement and frustration. We have been going through a roller coaster ride with the baby since the day he was born. He came down with lung infection and breathing trouble soon after he was born. He stayed in ICU for about a week. Alhamdullilah he’s doing fine and was released this saturday, exactly a week after he was born.

Now that he’s home, its been wonderful. My folks like to keep him awake while he sleeps so they can play with him. He likes to sleep at nights (so unlike newborn

) and stare at everyone during the day. I thought he will keep us up all night but he’s been very cool with things. He likes to sleep just like his dad.

7 lbs. 6 oz.
21" long

Today is my first day back to work after a week of absence. Its was extremely hard leaving home this morning with him staring and kicking his legs around. sigh

As for laddoos, they are indeed due. Those who can manage and crash Indy this weekend are welcome to the Aqiqa this saturday. Those planning to be in chicago next week can collect their laddoos while I am there. Toronto folks can have laddoos in November since I will be crashing the town then. For immediate kicks, crash the aqiqa this saturday.
