how did u guys chose your babynames?actually i have chosen but many people are saying that keep according to your and hubby’s name or according to some Numbering method so that baby will have a better luck/taqdeer…what is this???

Isn't this a Hindu thing to do?
I do believe that the meaning of name should be good and it affects the personality of the child but other than that, nothing!
We chose name on the basis of easy pronunciation, mother in laws recommendation, and the Islamic history behind the name!

we chose the name because it works in both cultures (mine and hubby’s), is the name of an angel, and is beautiful. i don’t know if it solely affects the child’s nature though; nurture plays an important role in who your child turns out to be as well.
the whole number thing is superstitious crap and has no place in a muslim household. Allah determines destiny, not the number 19

definitely seems like a superstition thing. Just make sure to choose the name based on meaning, other then that there's nothing else to worry about.
