Re: Baby's first birthday menu
How many people? It really depends how much help you are getting from the store, what kind of crowd you are inviting, your comfort level at hosting just cake cutting, tea party, or dinner.
Re: Baby's first birthday menu
I would say go for dinner if you plan on wearing a shadi ka jora. If you are dressing semi formal, go for cake cutting. If you are wearing something more formal, go for a tea party.

Okay just one piece of advice:
STOPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP with the sugar overload people!
I have gone to so many birthday parties with elaborate sweet tables as a main item and while its very sweet...I don't give my kid that much sugar and I wouldn't do that to anyone else's either. Focus on kid friendly food that can also be eaten by adults.
One party I went to...it was 100000% sweets and for food they had snack trays. :(
So what did we do?
We had a cookie and then made a mad dash to the nearest restaurant!
