i wonder when the baby takes up it’s final position, the one that it will be born in. Im in my 32nd week but the baby is still in a breech position…

That's really up to the baby! I think there is a certain point where they're supposed to be head-down but not sure when it is....my first didnt turn till the week he was born! The docs got me a little worried - said if he didnt turn, they'd try some maneuver to turn him, possible c-section etc but the little guy cooperated at the last moment!

Inshallah the baby will turn- aapi's baby was breech till two days prior the deliver and then a summersault and head down :)

**BV: **Normally, it takes 34 weeks to baby come on his/her final position..which is head down. InshAllah things will be arite. Before baby goes to his/her final position, you will feel more kicks and restless condition. Just watch/feel baby's movements..soon you will have a wonderful baby on this earth.

Some babies don't turn until right before you go into labor. Has the baby dropped yet? An experienced midwife or very good OB can usually help 'turn' a baby who is still breech during early labor. You need to spend as much time as you can on your feet walking around.

it is extremely unusual to discover any abnormalities in the baby at this stage in your case BV. Having said in my last reply that Before 37 weeks of pregnancy, breech presentation is much more common. Until and unless your labor pain has not started. If it has started than you should consult your doc. Otherwise, must see sonographer. The sonographer will check the amount of water around the baby, the exact position, and whether the baby has his neck extended looking upwards or it is in horizontal position. Well just chk your baby and you will fee hard part somewhere under your rib...as I mentioned earlier that feel and watch baby's movements.

I think I was 2 weeks from delivering when Maya was definitely head down. She was big and it was a tight fit so when she pushed down it hurt. It was hard to walk at that point. But BV..you're almost there. Mashallah it sounds like you're excited and everything is going well. I'm sure your baby will be healthy and beautiful Inshallah.

BV dont worry. Things will be fine inshallah when it's time for you to deliver. Sometimes baby changes position right around delivery time and sometimes they can change baby's position from outside manually. Also I think it was SaadiaB who was in the same situation a few months ago. You can pm her and ask her how she dealt with it. But her baby's position also changed I think a few days before delivery time.

I went for an ultrasound scan checkup 2day... the baby is breech and water is less. Its my 35th week.
