Babybliss Nano Titanium Flat Iron

Anyone here use this?

I got my hair colored today and my hair lady used this near the end. She was talking about how great it is and now I want one. I currently have a Sedu Revolution and it works fine so I don’t really “need” a new one. But I want one! My current on is also ceramic (I’ve always only used ceramic) and I want to get a titanium one to see the long-term difference.

Here’s the problem: My stylist used a gorgeous crimson colored one. I came home and googled it…not sure if it’s a “pro” version or a limited edition but all the ones sold at Ulta and other places are a light blue color. I am not a fan of blue. I haven’t been able to find the crimson colored one at any physical store site. I only found it online on ebay and one other site so buying is a gamble.

Any thoughts on Babybliss or titanium flat irons?

This is the one I’m thinking of getting: BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium Ultra Thin Flat Iron Duo - Crimson - Loxa Beauty®

Re: Babybliss Nano Titanium Flat Iron

It’s cheaper at Amazon. Amazon.com : Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Volare V1 1" Flat Iron - Red : Flattening Irons : Beauty

I have never used babyliss products. You might even be able to find it at TJMaxx or marshalls. I see them there all the time.

Re: Babybliss Nano Titanium Flat Iron

^ Thanks! The Amazon is about $10 cheaper but has the regular size. The one on Lexa is a duo that comes with 2 irons....regular and a compact one for travel.

I found it in places like Ulta but it's the blue one. I didn't even think about TJMaxx or Marshalls! Looks like I have an errand to run this weekend. ;)

Re: Babybliss Nano Titanium Flat Iron

I have both a ceramic flat iron and a titanium one. I prefer the titanium one because I feel like it straightens better with less damage. I should say my hair is mostly straight anyway and I just use it on the ends and my bangs.

The one I use is the Bombay Hair Titanium Flat Iron and with the gold plates (which was a huge selling point for me lol).

Re: Babybliss Nano Titanium Flat Iron

I am happy with mine which I only got recently upon my hair stylist's recommendation. I have the blue one, didn't even know it existed in crimson as well, or would have gone for that one.

Re: Babybliss Nano Titanium Flat Iron

I have a Babyliss iron (not the titaniam one) and like it. Mine is black. I think if you like the results, buy it even if you don't like the color. That should be secondary.

Re: Babybliss Nano Titanium Flat Iron

So I bought the blue one at Ulta. There is no snagging and results are good…but not dramatically different than my Sedu Revolution. But here’s the thing…I hate how the hand right above and next to the plates get HOT. I hate holding the iron far away and due to the heat, I have to be very careful not to get too near the plates. This problem doesn’t exist in Sedu. I’ve straightened my hair 2x with the Babybliss this week and hated having to be so careful and not burn my hand! So looks like this is going back to Ulta. :bummer:
