A couple a days ago, we found a baby sparrow in our garden that had fallen from its nest as it was trying to fly for the first time. We decided to christen it piyaroo and put it back in the tree..but the next day found it on the ground with a broken leg and its mam nowhere to be seen. So we took in but it didnt last very long, and we ended up burying it instead. :-s
Maamoli - - - - yah jo birdy hai woh or haseen lag rahe hai app kay hatho par beth kar asa lag raha hai kay zindage kay sab rang us mai samaa gaie . . kyun kay woh us jhaga bathi hai jis ko choonay ke har insan tamana karta hai
Older ppl used to say that if a human hand touches the egg or baby bird then the mama bird doesn't want it anymore. I don't know if that's true or not but i myself did that exact same thing you did and then had to bury the bird.
u killed the bird! u baby sparrow mae it dier!..er…i’m just kidding.
My mum last spring brough in this bird, saying that there’s sometihng wrong with it, cuz it couldn’t fly, and kept bumping into the walls and such. one look, and i realized it was a baby robin. but ofcourse mumsiy wouldn’t believe me. neways, keeping the story short, we kept it inside, the whole day, until evening rolled in, robins started to chirp, and it strangely sounded just like the sound the baby one was making. oh, i also googled baby birds :google: neways, it was released…and i wonder where it is now…
Tofibaba; Ive heard that one before, but i found out thats one of those typical age old myths.
Khumar: It had been out in the cold all night. :-/ so i kept it warm by the fire, and fed it as baby birds have to be kept warm in thier nests and fed every hour. I went out for the day, hoping it’ll be better by the time i return. but it’d gone altogether. an ive still no idea what happened.
