Okay so here’s the deal. Peanut in 3 and a half months old and my husband and I will leave him with my mom for an hour or less so we can go get some coffee or get some shopping done.

The problem is that my SIL keeps insiting that we leave him with her as well. I lover her but I don’t really trust her with kids , she’s a little immature for her age, my huband agrees, he’s also uncomfortable leaving our son with her.

I have told her that he’s still very small and my mom has experience with children and my son sees my mom a lot so its easier for him as well but she won’t let it go. Its actually not just her, we don’t leave him with anyone but my mom.

How do you address these types of issues.

have your husband speak to her if she’s still insisting. brother to sister, he can be more candid with her.

I’ll get him to speak to her, it bothers me though that she keeps insisting when I’ve told her I’m not comfortable with anyone but my mom watching him right now…but whatever I guess some poeple just don’t get it.

Say you decided to cancel the shopping and will probably do it some other time. Leave your kid with your mom and just go do what you gotta do. Don’t let her find out.. simple.. Everyone is happy!
