smooth guy: we already had a Qurran khwani. Anyway the purpose of the baby shower is to help the mother of the child in her everyday life after she gives birth. The baby shower provides her with things that would help her raise the baby. Its basically a get together where people would offer her advices.

Papa ki muskan: Thanx chica, that was pretty helpful. Well my sis got almost everything she wanted for the baby, all she needs now are diapers, crib, and a stroller, so i was just thinking of getting her either one of those (well she could buy diapers her self)

Some other games I've seen at baby showers:

  1. The women get string and try to estimate the size of the expectant mother's belly. The one who's the closest wins

  2. Baby word scramble. On a paper are twenty baby related words that are scrambled up, like stroller, diaper, etc. Whoever unsrambles them first, wins.

If you go to a party store, like Party City, they have a lot of stuff nowadays for baby showers. All sorts of decorations and favors.
