I have a 3 month old baby who was great till he turned 3 months old. Before now he was sleeping for 5-6 hours straight through the night which meant me and hubby got a good night’s sleep… till he got up in the morning…
But lately he has been getting up every 2-3 hours on the dot… I change him, feed him and then put him back to sleep hoping he will sleep for more than 3 hours but he doesn’t… why has he suddenly started not sleeping… nothing has changed… he does sleep thru the day ..usually in the mornings he will be asleep for 3-4 hours at a stretch (twice) other times he naps for 1 hour only…
pls share some tips, or advice… I don’t want to do waking up multiple times during the night…
yeah sahar I swaddle...he calms down and sleeps well when he is swaddled... but lately he is just not sleeping or waking up every 3 hours on the dot...which is fine during the day it is the night that is bothersome...

automne - It happens with all the babies I think. My daughter now 11 months takes 1 hour nap several times a day and wakes me up 2-3 times during night for milk. I don't think you can do much about it , its a part of growing up and happens with all the babies. You are masha allah lucky that your baby goes to sleep after the feed , many babies at this age cry through out the night due to colic.

automne trust me girl.. YOURE LUCKY!! my babe's 4.5 mnth and still colic and rarely sleeps at all!!!!! i think in 24 hrs (both day and nite) in total she sleeps max 7-8 hrs only! i used to think its colic thats keepin her awake but i m so depressed to note that even now in afternoons and evenings after feedin her 4oz milk she cries after 5-10 mins. even if she sleeps its not more than 20-30 mins only. i dun understand wots her prb and why a baby wud cry constantly.. it cant always b hunger. pls do count ur blessings like diamond said. IA ur baby will b fine
