my cousin’s name is spelt mikyle and its me-ka-eel as in michael as in the angel.

mikal pronounced mik-al and might be swedish? the main guy character in the girl with the dragon tattoo novels had this name.

His name was Carl Mikael. Pronounced as Meeka-el and is the swedish version of Michael, the angel.
Just wanted to clear that.

I have never heard of the name Mikal
