i think baby massage is a great bonding experience…i used to love doing it on my nephew till one day he peed on me…..i still did it afterwards but always used an open diaper to prevent that from happening again

my momany once gave shower/massage to me and my cousin(her son) when we were little kids.
I was thick a strong even back than, my cousin was skinny.
I remember my momany got mad at my cousin for being skinny and said some thing like "look at him.(me)" and slapped him twice on his back he started crying.
hahahahahah

i did with mine and yeah mashallah alhamd. its very good for baby....
head and limbs. just massage movement with a little bit of baby oil is what i have seen my cousin do to her babies.
i heard that it makes babies blood circulation. and since they cant dp aerobics when they are so little, that is an excercise for them.

Wow, that seems like a good idea. Is it because garlic is some kind of an antiseptic?

but I just cant imagine the scene in ur case … lol:omg:
For both my children, a massage lady used to come over for a month. We started as soon as they were back home...ie within 3-4 days. The ladies massage the baby, do some baby exercises...one really nice one is to take the legs right up to the nose ...till they let out wind:)....bathe the baby and also if you like massage the mum...to get back into shape...I suppose. It was so brilliant. The baby gets so tired after the routine, they sleep for a long time after. Oh and after the massgae and bath, they straighten the baby legs & arms and wrap them up so tight...we used to call them spring roll baby....Just a head sticking out of tightly wrapped roll. I know ...it may sound "cruel" but it was actually the best thing for them.
