Bollywood’s original diva Madhuri Dixit is preparing for motherhood again. The actress, currently in Denver, is pregnant and this was confirmed by her secretary Riku Rakeshnath as well as Madhuri’s mother Snehlata Dixit. “Yes, she is pregnant. But we don’t want to reveal much as she is going for her final tests. Once the tests are done, we can share our joy with the world,” says an excited Snehlata.
Consequently, her plans of starring in Buddhadev Dasgupta’s and Somnath Sen’s films will have to be rethought. In fact, Riku says the actress won’t be visiting India till 2006.
Madhuri’s parents are planning to visit their daughter in the US, and they tell us that the actress will deliver in her husband’s home. “We are so glad. We don’t mind if it’s a boy or a girl, as long as it’s a healthy baby,” says the excited Snehlata.
Madhuri, in an earlier interview to Bombay Times said that hubby Dr Sriram Nene, had wanted a baby boy so that fatherson duo could carry out all the male outdoor adventures. So he was glad when Arin, their first son, arrived.
After that, the actress admitted that she preferred a girl next time around so that she could have some company and she could doll her up. Does she still feel that way? “Though my personal preference is a baby girl, I will be happy, if it’s a healthy baby,” the actress conveyed her excitement through Riku from Denver.
