You should start taking her out and honestly, its much more convenient to BF than go the whole formula route… I’ve done it in Disney parks (she was only 2 months’ old when we went to Magic Kingdom), parking lots (sitting in my car), changing rooms in the mall, etc. etc.
For at home, maybe get a baby carrier (like Bjorn) which keeps her close to your body and frees up your hands so you do all your chores with her, or get a baby bouncer that’s portable… don’t wait for her to sleep so you can do your chores, do everything with her … get her used to sleeping in the noise, don’t tiptoe around her… watch TV and do everything you want to do… I even used to vaccuum with my daughter sleeping in the same room, I started with small noises and went up gradually.
Above all, you need to relax and she will relax too, babies pick up on the mommy’s emotions a lot during the first few months so don’t get all flustered and panicky, maybe have a good cry once with your husband… you’ll feel better after that, I know I did ![]()
