Baby/Infant Care - Advice

Re: Baby/Infant Care - Advice

i'm with muzna on this one. stick them under the tap - they're so tiny at that age anyways, that it's easy to do, and wash 'em with water.

it's recommended that you don't use wipes until the baby's at least six months old, because their skin is still so sensitive and they're more prone to getting a diaper rash. but i mean, if you're outside, and don't have anything to use, then sure - using wipes once or twice would be alright.

as for training baby to sleep during the night - there's really no magic way of doing that. everyone's baby is different. some children sleep through the night as early as 3/4 moths, while others still wake up when they're 12 months old.
it depends on how comfortable you are with it, but when the baby's sleeping try and place him in the crib, especially at night so he gets a better understanding that when i'm in the crib it means it's time to sleep.

other than that..don't worry, you'll do fine =) it's a learning experience everyday...

ohh..i just remembered - when musa was just a little one, i'd use those baby wash cloths to wipe his bum. just make sure to wash them after you've used them, hang it out to dry, and you can use 'em again!
