Here in the US you can buy an over-the-counter gender test called IntelliGender; they sell is at Riteaid and a couple other drugstore chainrs. I think it's about 90% accurate. It accurately predicted a boy for me at 8 weeks pregnant. I was still dying to have my anatomical ultrasound, though, to confirm the results!
One thing they say about boy pregnancies that was true for me: I craved lots of salty and tangy/lemony foods, wasn't really interested at all in sweets.
omg I had no idea this thing existed. I would surely have bought it with my second pregnancy when I was just dying to find out what I was having.
SGC, I'm in the 'need to know, NOW' category. I don't know why, but I just can't imagine having to wait to find out----I like to have a name picked out, clothes purchased, etc., all in advance. I'm a planner. :)
A girl I work with is also pregnant; she's due about 7 weeks after me. She's keeping it a surprise.
SGC, me and hubby have decided that we're not finding out about it this time. I am a bit hesitant and curious as hubby is not at all ever interested in shopping and i will have tough time shopping for the baby later but since i already have a 2.5yr old son, i will do the pink pink girly shopping from scratch and will be using my son's stuff in case it is a boy. So, I am in the keeping-it-a-surprise category.
My pregnancy this time is TOTALLY opposite to the previous one by the way..not smooth at all :( it could be a girl logically but if it is a boy, I will be a good example to be quoted about each pregnancy being different despite same genders of babies everytime :D
I took both the quizzes and they weren’t right.Well, the doctor was pretty sure when we went for the scan so I just hope he was right.
I was so impatient to know what we were having.I dont think so I would have been able to wait till the end to find out!
thx aishi and gtg for ur replies. as mch as i wud like to agree with u gtg abt ppl talkin anyway whether u have a boy or a girl... i cant really help it. i know i shudnt b stressing abt the boy thing and i also agree that we r not havin baby for them ultimately. but it is indeed the bitter truth that many couples like me go thru this stress of answerin when r we havin babies... when are we tryin for another etc. for 3 yrs almost we didnt have a baby. we didnt try for abt 2 years. only strted tryin a year back...and many a times i felt pressurised to have a baby asap cus years were passin by and ppl were constantly askin and comparin me with my sis who after 10 yrs has no kids.. but thats another story altogether.
anyway forget it... i m dyinnnnnnnn to know the sex of my baby... i have to know now!!! the suspense is too mch. like others i cant wait to know.. i will defoo share the news too IA on GS :)
This seems to be true with me too. With my boys I did not put on weight anywhere else, only my stomach was sticking out and I had bad sciatica pain. With my daughter I was all wide and round , suffered morning sickness and generally felt worse.
