i'm on the fence- at first i was all i need to know, i need to know. but now i think theres a certain charm in not knowing... i guess i'll know how i feel when i'm in the situation!

SGC I thought you would want to know,you being planned and all!! Waiting for the 4 month ultrasound was torture enough for me both times! I stocked up upon stuff according to the babies'genders. However,I can undrestand the charmin teh surpsrise element. Dh helped make up my mind saying, it will be a surprise when you find out via ultarsound too.

We have found out but have kept it from everyone so far. Only my ammi knows. Sis has been saying from the begining what she thinks we are having and she is right.

My knowledge may be a bit stale in this department, but I still recall that the way to determine baby's sex was actually a very rudimentary process. So, while a prediction of son is hardly ever wrong, don't be surprised if you painted the nursery pink and a boy pops out. :)

eastern, i knooowwww! i thought so too! but the more i think about it, the more i'm shying away from all the planning- its making me too nervous! haha i think for us to successfully have a child, its just going to have to happen and be a big "oops!" :p

we started off the pregnancy not wanting to know..
then everyone else started to pop and my husband started getting into the groove of things and wanting to be prepared so he started saying he wants to know whilst i still maintained i didnt
by the time we got to the 2nd ultrasound … he was dying to know.. whilst i could care less… so we found out.. couldnt have one of us knowing and the other not cuz i may be pregnant and sometimes a blonde… but im not THAT dumb.
we’re still very very against painting walls blue or pink or buying gender specific clothing so none of that… which brings me to think.. why on earth bother knowing then 
he was just of the opinion that now we know what NOT to look at… ho hum

Im still not decided either!!! I think it'd be soo lovely to have it a surprise!! But then part of me wants to know to make things easier for me, like picking a name, decorating the nursery, buying clothes etc. We'll see!! If we do find out, we wont announce the gender to everyone though, just like parents and siblings and leave the rest in suspense and keep the nursery locked at all times!!

I didn't want to know but hubby couldn't wait. So we found out.
It doesn't really matter. Seeing your new baby and holding is a special surprise in itself!

Lol! just like it happened to us now. But you know what, a lot of fun is in the planning for the baby.I am quite an anal person even a dinner party at my place can't just "happen" so I know what you mean.
Me and hubby wanted to know so we can buy some clothes I didn't want my girl to wear blues or boy to wear pinks .But didn't share it with anyone as I think its the matter that should remain between husband and wife.

I had to know the sex of my baby! I wanted to buy the right clothes beforehand not cream or white clothes!
The annoying thing is that in Pakistan Army hospitals they don't tell you the sex for fear you might get upset if its a girl! Its so silly. I went to Norshera, Peshawar, Pindi CHM - and they all refused no matter how much I begged!
Then I went to London at 7 months and they told me what I was having!
Anyone else experienced this problem with CMH's, Pakistan?

my 1st one was a surprise coz she was breech and 2nd one was a girl which we got to know in the 7th month. 2 daughters :)
