I want to ask which formula milk do you give to ur child

Here in USA formula milk is so expensive . My cousin had a baby recently and she is giving her child Enfamil

my daughter didn’t like enfamil or similac … i tried earths best organic formula and that was great.
however, it costs the same, if not more then enfamil.

Enfamil A+ is what the paed told us to use. And yup, it’s super expensive esp as they get older and drink more milk. We were spending $200 a month on formula by the time we switched the kid to whole milk. :confused:

Gave my daughter Similac for the first five months but then there was some recall and had to switch to Enfamil.She never noticed any taste change and took them well,although I thought Enfamil tasted way better than Similac.They both were the same price and yes I agree it is expensive.
To cut down on the cost try getting it from wholesale clubs(I am assuming you are in the US) .They sell in bulk and it always costs less than gettting it in smaller packs from grocery stores or drug stores etc.Also if you sign up on the respective websites,they send coupons sometimes.

I was supplementing my baby till 5 months, I use Enfamil. However, when he was exclusively drinking formula, we checked with our ped about changing brands. He said they are all same. He told us to try a new brand for 3 days, if there are no reactions, we should continue with the new brand. We got Kirkland baby formula from costco, baby was fine alhamdulilah. We have been using it for 2 months now. alhamdulilah, he growing healthy.

When I stopped breastfeeding my twins at about 6 months of age, we used formula from Sams Club too!!! My god were those expensive days! Double the diapers (actually triple, had my toddler too!) and double the formula! :hayaa:

I don’t know whether that brand is even available in the US, but we have used Milupa’s Aptamil for all our kids which was recommended by our ped.
