If your inlaws wanted you to have a kid soon after marriage…would you?
Re: Baby Fever
Pakistani in laws it seems are very bloody demanding. If they want kids, they should have them themselves.
Re: Baby Fever
Why exactly are they in a rush? Someone enlighten me.
Re: Baby Fever
No. Once you have kids, that too very soon, it's like you're more likely to be stuck in a marriage if there are serious issues. It's better to wait on kids for some time, get to know the other spouse, decide how you would want to raise kids, better envision the future, then have a family. I feel like have kids right away can take the fun out of marriage and age a couple more... but that's my take on it.
Get the in-laws a kitten or something.
Re: Baby Fever
Maybe cuz life is unpredictable...don't know how long one is going to live...hence the pressure for grandchildren.
Or maybe they want to prove to others that you are fertile and are able to reproduce....desis and their competition, lol.
Or the women pressuring you want you to balloon up like them, lol
They want you to have kids so they can compare theirs to yours...and so the cycle continues.
They want a new baby to distract everyone's attention from their own bratty kids.
They want you to join the bandwagon and experience the joy that is parenthood.
They (some) do it to make you feel self-conscious.
Who knows? Life doesn't happen according to our own time schedule...so why get so worked up trying to meet theirs? Not like they're gonna raise em. Just another annoying thing to deal with.

Re: Baby Fever
Even if they pressurize or want you to have kids, in the end its just in God's hands. Let them do what they are best at and let God do at what hes best at. No worries!
Re: Baby Fever
