I cannot leave her in Pakistan, as no one in our families to take care her. I will take her with me. I will not apply for insurance. I will try to find some hospital with minimum quote. I asked HR and they said, my present insurance will cover $5K maximum.

no one can give you a quote because no one knows what the services would be. a normal delivery costs can be estimated but you know that anything can go wrong and the emergency costs can easily skyrocket.

don’t take a chance. why can’t you postpone your visit. i’m sure your employer will understand and cooperate with you.

btw, are you trying to have the delivery of your child in the US so your child could have a US citizenship? i am just curious because i know quite a few people who have done it for this purpose.
