Just a quick question for mommies here.
I bought some onesies and sleep and play kinda stuff today in sizes for a newborn.
When I opened them up and saw them they kinda look too small.And I also heard that they shrink after the first wash.
I am not buying too many clothes at this time but still wanted to know that should I buy stuff labeled as for NB or the one for 0-3 months?
Will the 0-3 months stuff be ok and not to big?
Will really appreciate replies.Thanks!

I'm learning as I go, but I find there's lots of inconsistency. Mine was born early -- some preemie stuff is perfect on her, some preemie stuff is HUGE on her, some is small on her!. But the onesies for full term newborns fit her perfectly. The advice I got from most people was just to buy a few in each size, and to get more as needed.

SAHAR:hope you and the lil one are doing great.Thanks for the reply.I think the NB onesies are kinda too small.I am thinking of getting them exchanged for the 0-3 mths size and similarly keeping a few sleep and plays in NB size and few in 0-3 mths.Can always get more when the baby is here,Inshallah.

i had a full term baby and newborn outfits were useless for him.. just get 0 to 3 month outfits. if u want.. u can get one nb outfit to bring the baby home in?

^ same here. he wore them maybe once and then outgrew them.
Plus the sizes in each store are different, which also makes things difficult. I buy stuff as I need it .... and when I do buy it, I make sure to buy it for twice his age due to his height.
It depends on the kid's size if u had a normal baby and it weighs more than 7 pounds then 0-3 mnths are best if baby weighs less then 6 lbs then premies are best for first 2 or 3 weeks. And don't buy much babies grow out clothes pretty fast.:)
