helloo.. a question for you ladies here.. what stage of pregnancy does one start to get the bump? any personal experiences? thanks =)

My shape changed very early, like 7 or 8 weeks. I had lost weight but the bump was there (tho easily hidden). I didn't show until the end of tri1.

Sahar I get what you're saying about shape changing...I noticed though there wasn't a visable bump my pants fit differently from about week 10. Baby bump appeared around week 16

Its very variable ...Mine did not show till the later part of 2nd trimester and I was very easily fitting into my regular clothes.

I "popped" very early on but I think a lot of that was the initial bloating that happens. I've been in maternity pants since week 6 or 7. Very early on, before week 12, I was noticeably pregnant, then it sort of settled down a little bit to a smaller bump. To date, I've gained about 2.5 lbs but that is mainly because I went through 12 weeks of vomiting/nausea/morning sickness misery so wasn't eating anything, really. I'm anticipating/dreading a growth spurt this trimester iA!

I didnt need maternity pants till now .. (20 week) and am having a hard time finding a suitable one... checked many stores. The pants I had last time were for summers that I cannot wear now.

i had thought one gets that bump way in the 6th month =D i guess it varies for everyone like chips said =)

^ well yeah, the bloating was there, then it settled down and went away, and it was more about the baby growing = the bump, and not bloating = the bump.

I gained a lot of weight after I got married so overall I was chubby to begin with. My bump for this reason wasn't as noticeable. I am 30 wks pregnant and I have gained about 20 lbs so far but my weight isn't all in the belly. I wear yoga pants that roll over from gap mostly since its extremely comfortable and look good on me. I bought just one maternity jeans which I hardly ever wear, very uncomfortable.
