the same way you conceive a girl is the same way you conceive a boy. The rest is up to Allah SWT.
Pray that Allah SWT grants you a healthy, pious, respectful, honest, truthfull and loving baby child.

I have seen people wear taveez, go to mazars and what not to have a boy.
Many (not all) couples who cannot have their own child want to adopt only boys in Pakistan.
When my sister got pregnant, her inlaws kept saying to her ke "larka ho", she had a girl !! I guess they forgot to tell her all about alkaline body.

Both of these things ensure a shorter, less traumatic trip for the relatively weak boy sperm.
I found this pretty hilarious.
I wonder how traumatic things are made for Mrs. Ali Usman to make sure she conceives a boy.

It's fine to have a preference. But if you are having a child, you need to be okay (and happy for) a boy or a girl.
