Well, I'm afraid, you can't predetermine the gender of your offspring. It is all in the hands of Allah. Count your blessings, and be thankful for whatever your child's gender is.

This is a real life story. This person badly wanted a baby boy. He would be over confident and go around saying that his baby is going to be a boy while the mother had the feeling that it would be a girl. When she delivered, the baby was not a boy or girl but deformed and had Down's Syndrome. So instead of asking for boy or girl, ask for a healthy child from Allah SWT.

The only certain way is IVF with gender selection.

Gender selecion isnt allowed wih IVF, its against medical ethics. So if you find a place hat says they’ll do it, I’d not trust them.
There is a somewhat unproven method called Shettles. The theory is that male sperms swim faster than female sperms. Bu they die off faster than female sperms. So the way you time intercourse can have an impact on gender. You’d need to time intercourse, carefully following the exact timing of ovulation. Its a rather involved process and for sure, theres no guarantee.

girls are better than boys...its easier to raise them...they study well...they are around to help u in ur old age...they are more loving, caring and above all they have a head on their shoulders...UNLIKE boys! :)
Good point. As far as I know, there is no legal method that guarrantees a certain gender. You might be able to slightly shift the odds with the Shettles method.

This reminds me 2 days ago my mom told me about some Surah in Quran to read for a healthy pregnancy & then she mentioned if its a girl this time then the next time she'll let me know about how I can read something for a boy. It got me really offended & we went on this discussion about how even its a lot of daughters they are a blessing & she who is otherwise a very open minded person & probably herself doesn't care if she has boys or girls as grandkids went on about how parents worry more for a daughter then a son in all aspects of life. It has something to do with sending the daughter away when she gets married & how parents cannot always be there for daughters.
And isn't it that whatever the fetus will be you can't change it. Does anyone know when does the baby's sex develops in a womb?

^ It's determined right at conception. The sperm that fertilizes the egg determines the gender. The visual differences don't come about till later, but that doesn't mean that the sex isn't determined.

There is only one type of egg. It can be fertilized by a female sperm or a male sperm. The sex o the baby is determined at the point where the sperm enters and fertilizes the egg.

My uncle (brother of my dad) was married for 16 years...They didn't had childeren...They tried IVF a few times..But it didn't worked...Finally it worked the last time they tried...They had three babies...One baby boy and two girls...Pregnancy was very difficult for my aunty....she couldn't walk sit or do anything...After 9 days their baby boy died.....My aunty felt pain at that time...but after a few days she was absolutey normal...She said why should I cry for my son I don't have anymore..I have two beautiful daughters...I should be grateful to Allah!! And my dadi and popo never understood her behaviour..I think she is really strong and a good woman!!

Allah is caring and forgiving.....may He have mercy on those souls that are not grateful for what they have. May He forgive them their sins and show them how lucky they are to have a child at all.

At the time of making love you can read ya nafi and keep in mind god is giving of a blessed child, this is for anyone trying for a baby.
In the 99 names of Allah and a book called Remedies of the Quran there are a few prayers for trying to have a son.

It is part of verse 89 surah 21.
It means “Oh Allah do not leave me single (without offspring), and you are the best of those remaining behind (after I have left this world).
The cure of jealousy is to make sincere Dua that Allah Ta’ala grants all good to the person whom you are jealous of. Praise this person abundantly, even though it may be difficult to do so.

Y is boy and X is girl. and Y is very sensitive, can be damaged quickly. Some women has a problem, they destroyed all the Y which comes from husband semen and keep only X and give birth to daughter. This is only what women can do. Otherwise Y and X both comes form man semen.
