1 Female (x) chromosome are slower but stronger than a male (Y) chromosome. A male chromosome however, are faster but die quicker than girl chromosomes. To make the male chromosome last longer and get a higher chance to get pregnant with a baby boy, you need to condition your body into having a low pH environment for your male chromosomes because they easily die in a high pH level body. To do this, women need to eat certain foods that are high in potassium and sodium like nuts, figs, raisins and apricots. Avoid foods high in calcium like cheese and yogurt. I have read about this and I even mentioned this info/explanation in the Life 1 forum. However, at the same time, we can all think of many examples of situations where we try our best to control things…and the result comes out different from what we had planned. And that shows that there is someone else who has ultimate control of our destiny; that being Allah.

There have been cases where couples have tried strategies (diet, etc) to coceive either a son or a daughter…and sometimes they get what they wanted and sometimes they don’t. The way I see it, you try your best…make dua…and leave it to Allah…and be grateful to whatever He gives you. I know that this can sometimes be easier said than done. But if He blessed you with a daugther or even several daugthers…He believed you could handle it. And there is much reward in raising a daugther and there is also punishment in thinking of her as a burden. If the Y chromosome is slower than the X chromosome…that too is Allah ki qudrat. Maybe He wanted to make the Y chromosome to have shorter life span…because He wanted to test those who end up having daughters. Or maybe He wanted to make it easier to to conceive a girl because the population of women is supposed to be greater than men…as qiyaamat draws near.
