The Babri mosque was built in the hindu heartland and in one of hinduism most holy cities.
It would be like a hindu temple in the middle of mecca or medina.
Babri mosque has been closed for about 100 years and was not being used at all.
I believe the muslims leaders had made a proposal of allowing a hindu temple to be built there and in return muslim dalits being allowed in the reservation system.

The mosque is a long gone issue. There are more problems that one has to deal with today. personaly I dont think it was right to bring it down they way whole thing was carried out. But I guess we should move on.

Is it that we should move on and not talk about it, as the demolition wasn't carried out by the Muslims?
I had completely forgotten about it, but now that it has been brought up, it highlights the fact that others have been quite intolerant as well.
