Babra Sharif

I think she was the last decent female actress the Pakistani film industry had. Acted in a multitude of roles, earned tons of fame. She and Faisal made a really cute couple and were pretty popular in the 80s, when they starred together in a string of commercially successful films.

Here is a quintesential 80s number from one of the most popular films from that time called “Beqarar”. Pretty nice and Karachi beach loks spectacular!!

I also thought Neeli had very nice features and was pretty..

Re: Babra Sharif

^I've heard Neeli studied from kinnaird. she was quite pretty and decent.

Re: Babra Sharif

well neeli just vanished in thin air,as she didnt exist:hmmm:

Re: Babra Sharif

Didn't Neeli marry Javed Shiekh?

And yeh Barbara was on of my favorites.
Really cute

The last I heard, Neeli had gotten married to some Sindhi feudal lol...and nope, she never married J/Sheikh though there always rumors that they had secretly nikaah'd!

Babra Sharif rocked...she acted in some pretty successful films, and was known to be a thorough professional throughout. Very un-diva like behaviour though she was a real star.

Re: Babra Sharif

she hasnt aged at all......she is one of my fav!

Re: Babra Sharif

neeli got married to sarfraz merchant..a filthy rich business man..I think he's ismaili.

Babra was involved with some sheikh from the UAE..

Re: Babra Sharif

i never liked babra sharif...i dont find her pretty or elegant...i find her paindoo...i saw this film of her and faisal rehman called chakkar...she was ok init like she was in her other films but faisal rehman....god he was sooooooo stupid init....his acting was damn funny and i was like what the hell is he doing..i dont like him waisay but never thought ke usne is kisam ki bhi koi film ki hogi......on the other hand i like neeli...she was very pretty and portrayed some decency amongst all other actresses

Re: Babra Sharif

babra is a very fine actress especially in comedic roles.

^^ Yup, she was hilarious in Nadan Nadia, that was aired on NTM in 94/95 and was directed by Anwar Maqsood. Such an awesome play, that one :)
