Babies switched at birth...what would you do?

Here is a story about two Russian babies mistakenly switched at the hospital at birth…one raised as a Christian, one raised as a Muslim. Now what should they do?

How tough for both the parents. But I hope the girls never lose love over this for the parent who raised them for 12 years.

Wow.. it might get messy as the girls become teenagers + young adults, esp from a religious point of view.. Hope everything works out ok for them tho..

They should do what's best for the girls. Article states that both the girls don't want to "swap" homes and are happy where they're at. At the age of 12, both have obviously formed strong bonds with the family that raised them....and they identify with those families. Nothing can erase their feelings/thoughts/memories/bonds that have taken place in the last 12 years (which is ALL their life!). No good will come out of separating them from they people they consider "mom/dad".

Part of being a parent is putting yourself 2nd.....and putting the needs of your children 1st. This situation isn't about what the parents WANT....its about what the children NEED in order to continue having a stable, happy life.
