I absolutely love the Punjabi stage dramas. Mastana and now Babbu Bral?! This is pretty sad. I loved their acts, this is just bleh!

Ameen u all dua's. He was a gem for Pakistan and its community. No matter how this person feel sadness inside him but we always see him brining smiles on our face. I hope govt. had taken some initial steps for his treatement when he was alive.

Just heard about this in morning and i was so sad :( What's happening with our artists? Going one by one. He was superb.

babu and mastana were amazing at their peak…like every other institution in Pakistan, the stage drama has also deteriorated significantly in last 10 years or so but babu and mastna in 90s were amazing stage actors….along with sohail ahamd and aman ullah, they ruled the Punjabi stage…unlike cheap and derogatory jokes that rule our current stage dramas, their jokes and remarks used to provide an insightful look into a life of a common pakistani Punjabi…mastana was amazing as Uncle Kiyon in tv drama shab -deg as well in which he used to poke everyone with his intriguing questions…here are some links of uncle kiyon:

Why is Pakistani electronic media (espeically the news channels who are always singing their own praises ad nauseam like nations unto themselves) so bad ?
They stink at investigative journalism and promoting national intersts.
Coming to reporting on ailing popular artists, how come these channels cry crocodile tears after these artists are dead and buried.
Was there any reporting of their illness when they were alive so maybe something could have been done to help them ?
I am sure Babbu Bral didn't turn into a skeleton overnight the way he looks just before his death.
It must have been a prolonged illness.
Why don't these so-called news channels keep people informed and report when it can matter ?
