Memories again
I remember my childhood,
When I used to be happy,
When the arms of my father didn´t give me fear,
When I didn´t know the hard blow of the belt in my back.
The cruelty was an unknown word,
And the terror existed only in movies,
A smile perpetuated in ice,
A forgotten love.
Those are the memories of my past,
Tears that fell again and again,
Strange infantile decay,
My only relief was the smile of my mother.
Now I´m the one who give rest to my pain,
Now is my smile the one that we can see,
The fury in my back lives in the past,
Moved away by this rope around my neck.
