Re: Babar Awan - Supporter of Zia - Distributed Sweets on Bhutto's Death

but that was true for Naheed Khan, Safdar Abbasi, the wheelchair guy of pindi, aitzaz ahsan etc too...........all those have been left out...while the person demanding bhutto's death is given the lead role..........

Re: Babar Awan - Supporter of Zia - Distributed Sweets on Bhutto's Death

Not only Babar Awan but also Rehman Malik and Firdous Ashiq Awan and also Fouzia Wahab these people were never close to BB which I also dont like still why PPP leadership I mean Zardari alone is giving main posts to these people

Re: Babar Awan - Supporter of Zia - Distributed Sweets on Bhutto's Death

perhaps they chose him cuz he is a good criminal lawyer, he has taken up politically related cases as well ... and I think he worked alot with aitzaz and other close ally of Zardari ... Maybe Zardari is impressed by him!! :p

Re: Babar Awan - Supporter of Zia - Distributed Sweets on Bhutto's Death

We have to look at Babar Awan role in PPP after he joined PPP and since he joined after Bhutto got executed, what he did at the time of Bhutto conviction and execution is immaterial and irrelevant.

As for who should be at forefront of PPP leadership, that is prerogative of present PPP chairman. Obviously, present chairman would choose those he feels comfortable with, not what others feel comfortable. At present, chairman is Zardari, so forefront of PPP would be those with whom Zardari feels comfortable. It is prerogative of Zardari to appoint whoever he likes at various posts and for various tasks.

As for ‘PPP’ voters, their choice is to vote the party or not, but have no choice who should lead them or who should be at the forefront of the party (PPP). No one force voters to vote ‘PPP’ (at least in theory), so why complain? If they do not like how PPP is run, they have choice to change their party.

As for those who do not vote PPP or have never voted PPP, certainly they have no reason to complain, as they are themselves irrelevant as far as running of PPP is concerned. Non-PPP voters can pull their hair or dance naked if they do not like the way PPP is run, as whatever they do matters nil to PPP leadership.

Non-PPP voters should look at who they vote and how Chairman/President of party they vote runs the party they vote. If they do not like what they see in party they vote, then they should change their party.

Re: Babar Awan - Supporter of Zia - Distributed Sweets on Bhutto's Death

It's all about opportunity. These people will go where opportunity is.

Bhutto himself was the biggest opportunist of all, born by the dictatorship of Ayub Khan, appeased America and pak establishment when it suited him and then when he thought he had enough support of people to let him rule, he presented himself as an anti-American and anti-army leader.
