aw Irem :flower1: i have been there, i know the feeling.

If it is any consolation whatsosever, you are not alone. Based upon my personal experiences, the three most important reasons leading to hair-loss are: stress, stress, and stress. If i am not mistaken, you are moving back to Pakistan shortly, are you not? Doing a great deal of shopping for relatives and friends back home? Worried that you are going to miss your friends in the US, your college? That is a great deal of stress to deal with, all in a relatively short period of time.

If you don’t mind my asking, what type of shampoo do you use? i think i read somewhere that you should try to change the shampoo you use on your hair every couple of months (i’ll try to find where i read this). Do you use conditioner? Do you use a hairdryer? Hairdrying is extremely damaging for your hair if you use it on a regular basis. In the past four years, i think i have used the hairdryer about five times - and this is in a cold province. Call me a freak  But i still prefer going out with hair that might be wet and let it dry naturally, rather than hairdry it. (Weird, i know :clown: ).

Most of us all know by now that water is critical - drink as much of it as possible. Set a target of six glasses a day - try to finish one glass in one hour and you’ll reach your target in no time.

i have tried all of the above, but i have found nothing works unless i try to reduce my stress level. This is of course easier said than done. Try to take out some time for yourself - even if it means going for a walk, by yourself. Try to relax, eat healthy (eat lots of fruits and milk). Hopefully this is just a temporary phase for you - Insha’Allah, maybe after you have reached Pakistan and settled down with your family, you’ll start to notice that your hair is starting to feel healthier again (because your stress level has decreased). Good luck :~)

baal zaida ter uss waqt girtey hein jab hum kanghi ya brush kar rehey hoon. If that's the same case for you then I suggest you stop combing or brushing your hair.

 hmmm, i am not so certain about this. i think brushing/combing hair is good and infact can be very healthy - but of course there is a proper technique. i’ve seen so many girls yank the hair brush through their hair while they are brushing - i do this too sometimes myself, when i’m in a rush, but it’s not a good idea. Brushing your hair is healthy because it spreads your hair’s natural oils, from the scalp to the rest of the hair.

Anyways this is one good site with some tips for taking care of your hair http://www.tlhs.org/care.html

oh yaar sedha sadha solution hai. Tind zindabaad. As they say in punjabi, "gangi tind qasayan di, sari masti naiyan di."

Tind kara do and no worries of hair loss forever. Na rahey ga Baal na bajey gi Bansuri.:)

That tind wala avatar doesnt suit you irem though its funny

kuch mashware yeh hain, which i have tried myself,is liay sirf sune sunaey nahin hain.

1.As Nadia said already combing is really good for your hair, try to brush or comb ur hair before sleeping at nite.It would increase the circulation to scalp and strengthen ur hair.

2.Use egg.with or without yogurt.Egg helps a lot to prevent from falling hair.I know it stinks but it will be gone after a shampoo so no worries.

  1. If your hair falling count is around 100/day ,its just the normal number so it should not make you worry .

4.A good massage to scalp with any kind of oil,i ususllay use coconut oil,has shown good results too.

Good Luck :k:

thanks for all the tips you guys

i used your tips and my hair grew back :hula:
