What a major disappointment! I didn't expect this from Bushra and Yasir, I was expecting something of the same caliber as Nadaniyan but sadly, it was a sad excuse for an 'eid' play with no elements of the special day at all. I was falling asleep in the first few scenes and my family was SO bored because those three ladies, whatever their names are, were so incredibly boring and over the top, it was ridiculous. I wish they had Nida Yasir playing the lead, she's such a good actress compared to this weird, cannot do comedy to save her life Aisha Khan. It got slightly better towards the end with Humayun Saeed putting in a bit more effort but that's about it. This was the ONLY eid drama I was looking forward to, thanks to the omg-it's-amazing publicity on GS but it was a major let down.
I don't know why people cannot come up with a decent Eid play these days. Trying to create some scene where the couple is about to get married on Eid is pretty lame. I wish plays like the ones Anwar Maqsood creates can be done more and more.
