In Pakistan...first day of eid at 9 pm which actually means somewhere around 9.30 pm due to a volley of adverts.
The three days of eid has some 150 eid plays coming on over 80 TV channels in Pakistan in Urdu, Sindhi, Pakhtoon, Seraiki, Punjabi and i wont be surprised if in English as well:)
But above all...the networks are bound to have a field of three days..literally taking the viewers by the throat on adverts.....LOL:)
Jo Pakistan mein EID plays aur shows dekhne ka hosla rakhta hai...continuously..usko SAAT salam!!!

it is so sad that USA viewer did not get to see any of those dramas baal baal bach gay or azur ki aai gi barat. all we got were some pathetic umer shareef stage play and some stupid concert. i do not understand why are we treated like that?? we pay a lot more for those channel"s subscription than the pakistani viewers. but we still get the boring crappy stuff.
i am soooo mad at geo :(

^ very true. its extremely unfair, these are paid subscription channels and they showed utter crap in the name of eid programming! we should write to geo, they should not blatantly segregate the international programming stream in the hopes that no one will notice the low budget crap and old flop serials they are putting on! go on to geo usa website, go to 'feedback' and let them have it, i did!

i watched it on vidpk, like two minutes ago. it was nice entertainment for eid, but it wasn't something over the top like tum jo milay

As per Yasir Nawaz..and some people at Entertainment Section-GEO, there has been a deluge of emials and sms…requesting for repeat telecast of BBBG and both; Shamimo and Hina were highly praised.
Shamim’s overacting was actually the requirement of the character!
BTW–I haven’t seen the play as yet…nor has Humayun:)

What a major disappointment! I didn't expect this from Bushra and Yasir, I was expecting something of the same caliber as Nadaniyan but sadly, it was a sad excuse for an 'eid' play with no elements of the special day at all. I was falling asleep in the first few scenes and my family was SO bored because those three ladies, whatever their names are, were so incredibly boring and over the top, it was ridiculous. I wish they had Nida Yasir playing the lead, she's such a good actress compared to this weird, cannot do comedy to save her life Aisha Khan. It got slightly better towards the end with Humayun Saeed putting in a bit more effort but that's about it. This was the ONLY eid drama I was looking forward to, thanks to the omg-it's-amazing publicity on GS but it was a major let down.
I don't know why people cannot come up with a decent Eid play these days. Trying to create some scene where the couple is about to get married on Eid is pretty lame. I wish plays like the ones Anwar Maqsood creates can be done more and more.
Anwar Maqsood and Moin Akhtar never fail to deliver.. It was being promoted as an "eid" play.. but where was the spirit of eid?

watch azur ki a'ay gi barat. it's actualy quite nice. i wasn't honestly expecting much from it. but it's better than my expectation. it's not about eid, but it's fun to watch

well the concept of the play was nice ,that dont fall for the looks,inner qualities also count.but i didnt like the hamayun’s wig part.well saaf lagta tha kai he is not ganja:hmmm: makeup artist should have worked hard.plus akshay part was not that funny.like it looked cheap for a granny to fall for an indian actor.anyways it was a nice time pass.some scences were quite funny.
It was a funny drama not so bad time pass.Akshay ki jaga Imran abbas ko le latey yaa koii Paki actor.Rest was good.:)

Humayun baalon ke saath bardaasht nahi hota tau ganj ke saath koun dekha ga ussa. granny chichori thi. indian actors ki hamare plays mein koi jagah nahi banti we have more goodlooking men in our country. bushra's sister is an awful actress.she's not even a patch on her sister. she was supposed to be a comedic character but her dialogues were repetitive and the ghalat angrezi bit was stretched too far. ayesha khan well,,,, unki acting aisi hai jaisey naya naya bolna seekha hai. plastic hai plastic.
waisey jin logon nay ye play nahi dekha woh baal baal bach gaye .

Humayun is appearing in NKS on probably 28th or 29th of Sept’09 with Mahesh Bhatt to talk about their movie JASHN…
When i told him of the views people had about him..he smiled and smiled and said that ye subb accha hai jo samne aaraha hai aur shayad ALLAH Almighty mere serials ko issi liye kamyabi bhi atta kar raha hai.
Its obvious ke aap ko WIG wala part pasand nahin aya hoga…its perfectly natural because you cannot imagine Humayun in such appearance…due to his deluge of plays and serials which earned him laurels…
We must remember that it was all fun-n-frolic and just halla gulla.
Everyone has their right to view it in their way and extricate thoughts…but its interesting to see how people immediately react to their own planned extrication in some way…
Afterall its a free world…
But I am glad to read your criticism NOT for the sake of criticism and its good that such thoughts are expressed in such a decent manner…
Keep it up and how I wish I had watched the whole play:(
