Hamid Mir attacked, big deal, every other day, some Pakistani is either shot-dead, blown away, abducted, reason can be any, but result is same, in the City of Karachi, when people are sitting in the gathering the favorite subject is how they escaped a looting or how they managed to run away from a danger, more or less same is the case in all over Pakistan from last 20 odd years, where either militants or different mafias or gangs have made life hell for the people.
Not law and order situation alone, ever deteriorating situation of Education and Health, the irresponsible behavior of doctors and teachers, the damage they are causing to the nation by cutting its roots
that makes, Law & Order, Education, Health all three basic/fundamental elements for our national growth are under extreme danger both by “State & Non-State Actors” as they may call it, and while all this is going on, our media’s favorite talk show subjects/discussions are:

Plane is waiting as ISB airport ready to take someone, ( depends who is ruling, was Zardari from 2008-2013, now a days it is Mushy, and it shall be NS in future) and predicting the date of govt’s departure or making out mountain of a mole, without any substance

Get three jokers like Shiekh Rasheed, Hafeez Ulah, Shreen Mazari, Zagheem or Zaeem, Firdous Aashique Awan or pick any from the list and let them fight or do as much bakwaas as they can

Start a controversial topic, do not let guest speak and in the end blame it all on the shortage of time.
these are the only traits found in any tv talk show, no one want to discuss how our bureaucracy have failed institutions like PIA, Steel Mill, Railways and many others, never try to educate civic sense to the masses, never ever try to discuss the evils and how to eliminate them, never ever try to discuss that why in a particular area the crime rate is high… they discuss inflation but never discuss it with a govt servant or person in power, yet they bring a most unrelated person and try to take his opinions, which btw is the most easy of all…
On the hands, earlier, Indian Movies had taken over cinemas, now thanks to these so called, patriotic media houses, the most pathetic drama and tv shows of India are aired in Pakistan by these tv channels… may i ask PEMRA why did they block indian channels then???ARY and GEO are the leaders in airing such shows… may one ask if the producers are brain dead??? and if Pakistan is not any more capable of making any cheap dramas any more???
My question to media is why they want to be a B team of Indian Media??? In India, 40% of their territory is known as red-corridor, Kashmir, Assam and many other area have violence as norm… never reported or at least in away as it is in Pakistan… and in Pakistan, if back-fire of car, or cylinder blasts, that is breaking news at all the news channel until they find out that it is just an accident and no body died or injured… they keep creating/sensationalizing it??? why, the godly figure for the media houses never does this in their own country why do you do it??? is it their direct instructions or is it that they are followers of B and C or D category of Indian media???
