Re: B.ed - M.phil
Mphil is better the B.Ed and its value is high.
Re: B.ed - M.phil
And try to do It from Karachi University.
Re: B.ed - M.phil
but why?
And try to do It from Karachi University.
Re: B.ed - M.phil
Because Karachi University is still a bigger name than the other two second it will cost less. However, if you you can't go to Karachi University for some reason, then the other 2 are fine as well. B Ed is good if you want to teach at a government school. However, M Phil will open doors to good private schools, colleges and universities as well as office jobs.

Re: B.ed - M.phil
My questions for you -
Why are you not considering a career at university level, why only schools?
Do you know about the researches done in the universities you are considering for MPhil? How many dissertations were submitted and how many of them were approved? Do they have enough resources for research? Do they offer an independent MPhil or is it only MPhil leading to PhD? If you want to do a PhD after you are done with your MPhil, will you be able to continue? What type of faculty do they have?
I will suggest that you make a checklist and then evaluate the choice (of universities) based on that instead of considering only one factor.

You will have to do the research on your own if you want credible information. Some of the information can be collected from Admission office. Try visiting the universities and schedule an appointment with the head of the department of the related discipline. If possible meet a few current students to get an idea about the research they are doing. Though the terms are interchangeably used, an MS is mostly course based degree and an MPhil is a research based degree. Not all universities offer MPhil.
I applied for MPhil in one of the universities in Islamabad a few years back. They weren't offering the discipline I was interested in though, so I had to withdraw my application.

Re: B.ed - M.phil
hmm... yeah... thanks :)
Re: B.ed - M.phil
Look the perception still is that you go into those universities you mentioned if you couldn't get into Karachi University. As someone suggested, go and meet with the department head at KU and other places and find out how receptive they are about new methods etc. I still say after M Phil you could easily teach at a college and they would be much more receptive to Karachi University.
Re: B.ed - M.phil

Re: B.ed - M.phil
I have not done M Phil but I have an MBA and I am also doing Masters from USA. But I from Karachi and know about the education system there. My friend was doing her M phil from Karachi University a long time ago.
