This has been lurking my mind for sometimes. Why can’t there be a B.C.C.I-P.C.B co-operation and coordination as a role model for both governments?B.C.C.I has already supported P.C.B in some matters and why can’t both cricket boards extent this to defend the injustice done on sub-continenatal teams? The basic advantages are as given below:-
1)In case of a tour cancellation by any team that was expected to tour either of the countries, citing trivial reasons like bomb/terrorist threats, sufficient actions can be taken and also the financial loss can be complemented by penalising the team refused to tour.
2)Unwarranted,illegal decisions taken against bowlers from the two countries
3)Do not let I.C.C to take unilateral decisions, especially in formulating new laws.
4)This is going to be a strong force. The entire cricket board’s will have to heed to what these two say.
Truth is that its may be PCB's need but not BCCI's unless it comes to voting in ICC .... BCCI has enough money power to bully other boards to get in line out of ICC .....

How many times in the past 7 years have a tour to India by a visiting country been canceled on the grounds of terrorist threats? In comparison to what Pakistan is facing now.
If a team is threatening to pull out due to the lack of security measures, ICC have the power to replace that team with a lower-ranked team. The hesitation is towards visiting and playing in Pakistan. If the tournament is shifted elsewhere, imagine the teams like Australia sending their first-string team including Andrew Symonds with no difficulty in making that decision.
2)Unwarranted,illegal decisions taken against bowlers from the two countries
What bowlers are in the picture whose actions are unwarranted and illegal?

Why a biggest revenue generating rich board would like to collaborate with a board run by non-professional mofos whose team is happy playing with likes of BD and ZIMB and nation goes crazy if they beat likes of SL or IND in a group match. BCCI is going in right direction, dictating ICC when needed, throws some minor favours towards Asian countries when it comes to voting. They don't need PCB or any other board more than that.
PCB and Pakistan cricket is going WI way and soon be seen at the bottom of the ranking, hovering around WI, BD, ZIMB and KEN.

I do not think any team will dare to cancel a tour to India because of BCCI's money power and influence. But when it comes to Pakistan, things are totally different.
In 2003 Newzeland cancelled it's tour citing a suicide attack, which was indeed meant for Gwadaor port engineers, orchestrated by Taliban.
Then Australia cancelled it's tour citing similar threats. Now the scenario is many teams are unwilling to play in Pakistan on the alleged security threat.
Kindly remember the same India has played in Pakistan twice in the last 7 years,in 2004 and 2006(I am not mentioning the 2008 tournament that included Srilanka,U.AE,and Hongkong). If India can play, other teams can also play in Pakistan. This is where both boards can work together, atleast to show the entire world that there is no rivalry in sporting arena and the abusred stand being adopted by other cricket boards.
Shoaib and Harbajjan where indicted in doubtful bowling actions were later acquitted off charges.

Why do you want to be so much pessimistic?Pak team has always the ability to bounce back :)
gesto....your love for Pakistan is interesting.....but very childish.
If the boards of Australia and England joined hands to take on the BCCI and PCB....desis like you (not me) would be first to shout "RACISTS".
What you are suggesting is also "RACISM" my friend...only in reverse.
And you want to know why Harbhajan, Akhtar & Shabbir were percecuted for chucking...because they are/were friggin CHUCKERS !! Not because they were Indians/Pakistanis.
BCCI has been doing enough muscle flexing already....the latest being their outright refusal to change the venues for England tour which was requested by the England board. I thought it was a justified request...given that almost all the venues for the tour are small towns without the best of facilities (the BCCI's rotation policy at work).
I also have a feeling that Harbhajan did make those racist remarks against Symonds (given his history) during India's Australia tour....but got off lightly after BCCI's brinkmanship.
This is not an example that should be followed in the future.
^My friend sometimes `childish' is prevalent to make some people matured.
My love for Pakistan..I have no animosity with them and if I criticize them in any matter,it's based on my perception and thoughts and not out of any hatred feelings.I treat tem as my brothers and friends ,simple. So love and sometimes fight are quite common.
India is changing and so Indians and if some people feel inferiority complex to westners, then it's their problem.
Not even for a bit of second in history the abovesaid boards will dare to challenge B.C.C.I ,because it has the money power and it can buy even the abovesaid boards in a matter of seconds.B.C.CI echelons know this and they are no more ready to bow their heads to these boards`,like some of the typical Desis/Videsis have some obsession for western whip.
This is the same mentality that drives India ,my dear friend and time is changing so the entire scenario.
I am sorry to mention one political side here.(Excuseme for that),but back in 1998 after Pokhran when the Australians threatened India with a ban,we retaliated prohibiting their ships entering our boundaries. It's TIT for TAT.India is prepared and I think some people have to mentally prepare for that.
Let these so called cricket boards cancel one trip to India.I am sure they wont play a single match in the subcontinent in future.
Let us come out of the `Butler nostalgia'.The era of pitched heat , the glory of long white dress and the reminscence of black&white are not going to be zombies and haunt you,my dear friend.
Wish come true, it looks like India are strongly backing Pakistan in the Champions Trophy issue. The relationship between the 2 boards has been very strong for the past 3 years, and definitely can set a good example for our govts to work together.
