Azlan Shah Cup: Pakistan draw against Australia 5-5
Pakistan managed to put up a brave fight against the world champions Australia to end a game in draw during the Azlan Shah Hockey tournament.
Australia had a three-goal lead during the first half however ended up sharing points with Pakistan in a thrilling contest. The match ended in a 5-5 draw with Pakistan equalizing the game at the final moments. It was commendable effort from the Pakistani side as they recover back strongly against strong Aussie team leading at one stage by 4-1. Skipper Muhammad Imran scored two goals while Rizwan, Muhammad Irfan and Umar Bhutta also scored one goal each.
Pakistan has altogether gained five points in the tournament and will play its next match against Egypt on Thursday.
