Aziz under scrutiny

Re: Pakistan: A most surprising success story - Newsweek (Merged)

You cannot blame Aziz for Balochistaan directly..... Balochistaan has been a time bomb waiting to explode and in the geostretegic terms its no surprise that it exploded now. We as a nation are responsible for the state of balochistan.
Having said that all this talk of economic growth and developement doesnt give you the true picture. Visiting pakistan every now and then staying in the posh areas or the top hotels and shopping in the top malls doesnt describe the ground realities. The reality is that the rich man has been given all the chances to swell his fortune while life for common manis more and more tough. The sugar crisis all the sugar mills are owned by politicians mostly on the treasury benches. Why this govt allowed these mill owners to exploit the common man......where is any investigation where are the culprits.... I guess thats the Transparency Aziz talked about....
Stock Exchange Arif habib and co earned Rs6 billion in three weeks from the crash and there are others as well. Who suffered .. the small investor..common man lost again. chairman SECP objected to it and set up an inquiry but was dismissed and sent home.......... I guess thats the Transparency Aziz talked about
**Steel Mill **one of the biggest assets of Pakistan...running in profit now after years of hardwork.....I am not against privatisation but its a profitable unit and one of a kind. There be no more competition in the country but look how it was being sold..... who would suffer once steel prices went soaring up....common man again.... I guess thats the Transparency Aziz talked about
NAB established by this govt to tackle things like these is surprisingly quite ...may be waiting for the time when it can black mial these MNA's in case they decide to go against the govt.....
Common man is facing inflation of above 12%......is income growth keeping up with that.....Yes there has been investment but all most of it has been in speculative sectors not in industry. Like all army ruling setups before this, this set up was blessed with a lot of financial support by international powers but it hasnt been utilised to its premium
But to be fair under this govt Pakistan's media has developed a lot....we have a very competitive and well reformed banking sector and over all reforms in the financial sector have been commendable. But all too often this govt has played in the hans of big players in respective industries.
