When I first saw this guy on the CD case sitting in my dad’s car I was like ewwww because he looks like a frog and he has paan in his mouth and he’s like singing with his mouth wide open :yukh:
Anyways, so I put it in just to laugh and yea it was pretty bad but after listening to it for like 10 minutes…i…actually…LIKED IT. Yea I mean I hardly understand it but my dad translates some of it for me (it’s Allama Iqbal’s poetry) and it’s really good! and my favorite part is when the drum comes in and they all start jammin

I heard him and nfk have a qwaali-off and nearly fainted in happiness. please do not taint what is sacred to me.
Would you like me to email you the whole thing? Personally, I like the second part better. The first part is mankind asking Allah (swt) these questions, and then the second part is Allah's response.
my personal favourite is “tere surat” and “main sharaabi” I like how he sings more of human flaws - the allah allah bit is all good. I love where he says
“mai larkharra kai girron to muh sai yah ali liklai” Arrrrrrrrrrrrgh the way he says that makes me want to die. (even though i am a sunni) I cry listening to this stuff.
So far as emailing it is concerned - its half an hour long!!! still want it?
oh actually i was asking if YOU wanted ME to email you the song, lol. Yea I love it when he sings and his voice gets real nasssttaayyyyyy and really high....and then the part where the guys in the background start moaning around echoing his words haha i love it. makes me smile :)
