my interest in the histories of distant places depend upon depend upon the current affairs of the worlds…e.g crimea is in the news nowadays, i googled about its tatar population and their history and i found out that tatar khanate of crimea was once nightmare for russians and other areas of europe…i have become interested in their history due to ongoing crisis.
