Azaan

Can somebody please provide me with a sahi hadeeth in regards to saying “Assalat o kharium minan nom” during azan, and can you also provide a prove that these words were used in azaan during the time of first Caliphate

Thanks

Re: Azaan

^ I thought it was Umar ibn Khattab(ra) who introduced these words in the morning prayer only

Re: Azaan

Wow…The one problem that will sove the problems of the Ummah…

Great thinking Curious one…Once we resolve this, everything will be perfect…Once this is resolved, I will be the first one to become Shia and do Maatam alongside you…:k:

Anyways, you have opened one previous thread with the same topic…And it was discussed at length…Use the search feature to bring it up…

Re: Azaan

It was a simple question I wonder why you are getting so defensive.

Second use th search option and you will realize I never opened such a thread before, if there was one such thread it must have been opened by someone else.

Re: Azaan

Asalaamualaikum
Why can't Muslims talk about the similarities among them.
Narrated Abu Hurairah(ra) Allah's Messenger said "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales;and do not look for other's faults, and do not do spying on one another and do not hate one another, and do not desert(stop talking to) one another. And O Allah's Worshippers!Be Brothers!."
[Sahih Al Bukhari,8\6066(o.p.92)]

Re: Azaan

I am not defensive…I am being facetious…Because that’s what this thread deserves…

I can tell you now where this thread will go…

Sunnis will say because it was Umar :razi: who implemented it…

Shias will say, then it is Bida’a…

Sunnis will say, no, the Holy Prophet :saw: said to follow whatever the Khalifas do…

Shias will say, no, he said to follow the Ahl-e-Bait…(As if Islam is a hereditary religion)…

And so on and so on…

Shias in the end will insult the Sahabas, Sunnis will defend their honour, some remarks will be deleted and in the end, the thread will be locked…

If you follow the Quran, then you should know it says, you to your way and me to mine…

There are enough Sunnis knowledgeable here to prove that being the Khalifa, Umar :razi: had every right and authority to implement this in the Azaan…You guys won’t believe it, so let it rest…

It’s as if I open up a thread about the authenticity of Maatam or Taqqiyah or the practice of Mutaah…

So, let it rest…

Re: Azaan

it is very well known to almost everyone that this particular line was added to azaan during the time of Umar (ra) and hence to ask if it has a hadith for it or if it was there during time of Abu Bakr (ra) is clearly nothing but mischief....

thread is locked, and thread opener warned not to open such threads again....
