Azaan

Ive seen that people in Pakistan have made this beautiful invitation into a nightmarish experience

I have mostly seen 5 to 6 mosques ranging in an area of 2 kms anywhere in Karachi, and all have installed their high volume speakers and blare into them 5 times daily; the muazzins go to the top of their voice threshold in order to drown the other mosque’s muazzin’s voice. That is first hand from the horses mouth itself.,

Its OK that we needed to reminded for namaz, but this is overkill. It seems as if your eardrums will rupture. Babies in houses start to cry due to shock from the crescendo. If you are on the phone - forget about any conversation, if you are talking to someone in person - impossible - believe me.

Cant we have one mosque set to duty to convey azaan to a particular area?

Any light on this …

azaan is compulsory in all mosques…
if there is no need for a mosque, it shud not be built on the first place…
but stopping azaan from mosques is not allowed…

how come babies dont start crying from loud music and all but azaan makes them cry??? :konfused:

I dont know what planet you are from - but on my planet - babies do cry on loud music,

loud meaning, that scattered crescendo - going above the 110db scale, loud as in the sea roaring is another ball game.

Azaan is compulsory in every Mosque, but each neighbourhood should have turns on who gets to use their “high volume speakers” that day.

What I think that Azan and Azan using loud speaker (electronic/electrical equipment) are two different things.

Music is not Jaaize even if it in low volume.

Trained Muazin and one time of azan could be a remedy.

Assalam o Alaikum

MMA govt is trying a cure for this particular problem in NWFP.....they have as a start fixed a same azzan time in nowshehra district ..

The moazzines should be trained to give azan....there is some problem with pakistani moazzines in particular ..they try to lenghten the last words.... similarly reciting darood , salam and dua after azzan on loud speaker also makes life difficult....

However some time it is envitable to give azzan in loud tone ta-kay logon kay kano tak music kay bawajood azzan pohanch jai...
