What about himself? Wasn’t he the one who paid moneys to other political parties to discount PPP while he was CAOS? Who informed him not to sit in Pak 1 with Zia-ul-Haq?

**You and retired chief Gen Aslam Beg do not know the whole story, Because Gen Sahib was only a Captain or Major in the Baloch Regiment when Gen Ayub Khan declared Martial Law for a very valid reason!
which was that Sikandar Mirza had made a deal with a foreign Power to sell the State of Kalat with collusion involving the Khan Of Kalat for a motor launch full of gold!
you see the Super Powers along with India wanted to break up Pakistan from its very beginning…
The motor Launch carrying the Gold shipment was scuttled off the coast of Gawader and later recovered by the Pakistan Navy!
That was the reason Ayub declared Marshal Law and told General Sikander Mirza to abdicate his post as President of Pakistan.
The other three Generals I don’t really care for that much especially Gen Yahya Khan he was not Ayub Khan’s first choice for the post of Army CinC. and so were the remaining two they were not the senior officers who would have become the CinC or as they call em now COAS.
Zia ul Haq was hand picked by Zulfiqar A Bhutto over his seniors and so was Musharraf hand picked by Nawaz Sharif.
So it was the crooked Politicians melding with the Army’s seniority system that brought about demise of the very same crooks playing politics where it should not have been!
I call all them Politicians crooks the real traitors to Pakistan!

Sukandar Mirza
was a retired major general but Ayoub was slave of US since when he was a brigadier .
Every elected PM bound to appoint a COAS so if a COAS do the high treason , it is not fault of the PM

Pl. read the book of Ayub (friends not masters ) . He him self mentioned that he started planing in 1952 how he going to run the country… It was not that he decided out of the blue to stop some conspiracies going on against paksitan.
From the history available , it seems he was loyal with pakistan adn not puppet of US ( it doesnot mean that he was not influenced by USA . All army high officials of that time till today are very much influeced by USA , consciously or non consciously ) He had a strong understanding that the politicians of his era are not able to run the country ( due to their internal rifts ) Unfortunaely when he run the country , rather than developing leadership from middle classs he depended on the same corrupt polticians against whom he came into power. He didnt let a real leadership from middle class to develop.
The same story is going on with every military dictator ( except yahya who was a real haramkhor ) . he comes as a masiah to save people of pakistan from corrupt people but ends up to befriend with same corrupt polticians.
