Ayesha Yousaf / Nadia Farooqui

Anyone ordered from either of these??

Re: Ayesha Yousaf / Nadia Farooqui

Yes, I ordered from Ayesha Yousaf, she was very professional and the outfit was stunning mashallah, her embroidery is very exquisite and detailed. I wore the outfit to my cousins shaadi in New York and everyone loved the dress. I would definitely order from her again.

Sheeni, how expensive is she?

Re: Ayesha Yousaf / Nadia Farooqui

Hi, she is same if not marginally less than Pakistani designers, but is absolutely worth every penny, embroidery is so intricate and guaranteed there will be no one else wearing a similar outfit.

Re: Ayesha Yousaf / Nadia Farooqui

what is the best way to get in touch with her? I've sent her an email and contacted her US poc but...any preferred way? I'm thinking to order 2 semi formals from her. Hopefully they will be under 300 usd each?

Re: Ayesha Yousaf / Nadia Farooqui

I just email her, she will work to your budget.
I know she is really busy as I wanted to order from her a few months ago and she was jam packed until Sept.
Email is [email protected]
Good Luck! I love her stuff.

Re: Ayesha Yousaf / Nadia Farooqui

thanks for your help!
I'll post again if I am able to order and show pics ...

Re: Ayesha Yousaf / Nadia Farooqui

I've contacted her virginia POC....so far so good. I've booked an order for an Eid outfit but didn't give her too much direction on what I wanted...just color schemes and a few pictures here and there of her work I preferred. lets see what happens! My budget isn't above 300 USD though...hopefully she can work with that.

Re: Ayesha Yousaf / Nadia Farooqui

So an update on Ayesha Yousaf…I went to her stall at APPNA today and I was pretty underwhelmed. Suits that had very little if any kaam were 450 USD…her mehndi suit that she had on a hanger that had been worn by a bride of hers was 800 or so…

there is no doubt the kaam was excellent. the material was quite nice to but she was ridiculously overpriced…I wish I could show you pictures of the outfits but I doubt she would have let me take pictures.

I won’t be ordering an Eid suit from her…I got quoted 750 for this:

and 450 for this…

the dupatta doesn’t even have kaam on it?!!

Maybe I"m still not used of seeing non-bridal suits for this much

I also noted how most of the pictures have either her relatives/cousins wearing her outfits…they were also there at the APPNA booth…so I don’t know who can afford her but I definitely cannot :frowning:

Re: Ayesha Yousaf / Nadia Farooqui

I went ahead and ordered a kurta suit from Nadia Farooqui ater hearing about her in this post.

She is a lovely and patient lady who takes her time to answer all queries prior to order.
