Hope this shows our leftie brothers in Pak that every country has to look after their interest. Our Man Mohan did exactly the same by expressing doubts about the idea of Iranian gas.
It is also interesting to see the struggle between Bharati left and the ruling elite. Left tries to thumb their nose to US while the ruling elite continue bending under Uncle Sam’s heavy hands.

New Delhi, July 23: Accusing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of “changing his tone” on the Indo-Iran gas pipeline during his us visit, BJP today asked the UPA government to come clear on the issue.
“While Petroleum Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar has all along been asserting that India will not balk under US pressure, the Prime Minister has expressed security concerns”, BJP deputy leader in Lok Sabha V K Malhotra said.
“It is very strange that the Prime Minister has realised the concerns during his US visit. There is confusion in the country. Is India under US pressure. The government must clarify”, he said adding the Opposition would raise the issue vociferously in the monsoon session of Parliament beginning Monday…
