i get confused when nimaz is read behind a imama or imam and they start reciting Quranic ayats which I never learnt to recite during nimaz.
Can you be more specific sister, coz
Do you want to clarify regarding what you shud supplicate during rukhu or regarding ayahs when you are standing up for rakat.
Otherwise advise of umair is fine.
If its rukhu its 3 times Subhana Rabi al azeem, then its optional to supplicate as below during Rukhu as well as Sajda after Subhan Rabi Ala.
Subhanaka Allaahuma, Rabana wa bihamdika, Allaahumma Ighfirli
The above dua is advised by Prophet, as Allaah likes the most when someone asks for forgiveness during Prostration coz thats the humblest position for any individual.
also to remember that you should read those surah's in order.
By that i mean, if you reaad Surah Ikhlas in first rakaat then you should read either suran falak or al-naas in the second rakaat. The order should be maintained.
other than surah al-Fateh and subhan-allah Rab-e- Alazeem, before going to sajda, what other ayats are easy to recite during nimaz rukhu?
is it alright to recite Kul sharif?

It depends which Imam you follow, In Fiqh Hanafi you do not recite Surah Fatiha or any surah while in standing position if you are praying behing Imam for any prayer except Takbir Tehreema onece at the begining before Fatiha.
But if you are follower of a different Fiqh (Like Shafi'e Hanbli or Maliki) then it does not applies, in that case you have to refer to someone who know it better.
its a bit different answer...regarding sister Dushwari asked about sura Qul shareef..means sura ikhlas...its the hadees of prophet(pbuh) quoted by maulana maudoodi in his tafseer that once some people came to prophet(pbuh) that our imam alwas recite sura qul shareef(ikhlas) after sura fatiha in namaz..when prophet(pbuh) asked the imam...he replied that..i love this qul shareef very much...prophet(pbuh) ....be happy...allah has awarded you jannah for the love of this sura...so its the best to recite sura qul shareef always...after sura fatiha...
and allah knows best...
wasalam.
